RDC-CAR endorses NL integration
The RDC-CAR, in its meeting last July 8, 2013, endorsed the proposal for a North Luzon integration comprising of Regions 1, 2, 3 and CAR including the creation of a body that would coordinate integration activities.
The proposal came out of a study commissioned by NEDA Central Office in 2011, which looked into possible integration of the said regions in order to maximize their potentials.

New CAR RDC vision, mission, goals highlight the region's pursuit of autonomy

The Cordillera Regional Development Council approved during its April 12, 2013 Special Meeting its vision, mission and goal (VMG).
The new vision sees the region’s highest policy-making body as the “premier catalyst for achieving autonomy and advancing equitable and sustainable physic-socio-cultural and economic development for improved choices and quality of life for the people of the Cordilleras.”

Cotabato City: “Pursue Cordillera Regional Autonomy but do not look up to the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) as your model because ARMM is not truly autonomous. Your inspiration should come from the principles of Regional Autonomy which means managing your own affairs, according to your own particularities.”
